ON THE GROUND

Data from 25.12.2017 to 31.12.2022. The 116 000 hotline in Switzerland was active non-stop for 1,832 days, i.e. 43,968 hours, and received/made 16,232 calls, relating to 526 situations involving prevention/missing minors. Most of these situations were successfully dealt with and successfully resolved. To date, 48 child victims of parental abduction and one young runaway are still unaccounted for and three young runaways ended their lives during this period.

WHO ARE OUR HEROES?
The Missing Children Switzerland Foundation was founded by a mother who personally experienced the disappearance of her twin daughters. For more than ten years, every parent and child living in Switzerland has been able to benefit from professional, immediate and free help. None of this would have been possible without the extraordinary resilience of this mother, without the invaluable support of generous private donors, the team, as well as internet users and volunteers. We would like to express our immense gratitude for this sincere and loyal commitment, which gives us the means to act effectively on a daily basis.
